THAMES WARD Part 1

We have decided to cover these candidates in 3 sections, our reasons why will become clear we hope to our readers.

As usual this posting is a matter of rumour, allegations, observations, anecdote and historical memory.

Jose Channer - What do we, or even the ward members at Thames Ward know about this young woman. NOTHING.

What we have managed to turn up is that this has caused George Shaw major problems.

It would seem that in cutting his deal with the North Street mafia, so that they fixed it that Joan Rawlinson and Fred Barns did not get re selected to stand in Thames Ward, the North Street mafia forced George Shaw to swallow a, for him, very difficult pill.

We are told that the young woman is from the BME community, and we are all very much aware of the racist views held by George Shaw, but he was left with no choice at all on this one, and as is usual George has chosen to very openly demonstrate how he throws his dummies out of his pram.

It is now very much on record that George has resigned from all of the groups he was heavily involved in on Thames Ward, from his position as Chair of the tenants and residents association, from all of the consultation groups set up to follow through on the massive plans for regeneration on the estate, the police ward panel and many others.

This will be a big blow for George, many of our readers will be aware of how George operates, and how he will take control of any meeting such as those listed above, and put very forcefully his view that the council is rubbish and how only he and his like minded followers can put it right. George will be hating the fact that he is now no longer involved and in control, but he will be hating even more the price he has had to pay to get rid of Joan and Fred.

And if any of our readers are not convinced of the points we are raising, lets look at the Selection meetings that were held that weekend in Dagenham, many people now believe that it was all done for show and a complete and utter waste of time, but more importantly not within the party rules, as has been outlined in another posting.

George Shaw made himself available to interfere in other wards business, that weekend, it is reported that he gloated at screwing over ward members in his position as a member of Barking CLP Executive, but then what happened on the Sunday? Thames ward were due to have their selection meeting on the Sunday and George Shaw, his family and friends did not show up!!!!! how blatently disrespectful is that? His arrogance is matched only by his corrupt friends in the North Street mafia, who we are told mockingly went through the process because 1 Thames ward member who is very disabled made the journey, struggled up the stairs to take part.

Well if that dont prove the case against George Shaw and his racist views we dont know what does.

But it still does not tell us or the community of Thames Ward anything about Jose Channer.

As usual this posting is a matter of, rumour, allegations, observations, anecdote and historical memory.

  1. You have the situation in a nutshell. We of Thames Ward know, as you say, NOTHING about Jose Channer. Why would we vote for a stranger? They may just as well have picked ANYONE off the street, and said this is your new councillor. Joan and Fred are tried and trusted and have shown they have worked for years for Thames Ward. Some have claimed they have not seen Joan Rawlinson, on Thames view, but then we have never seen Barry Poulton on Scrattons Farm. He is too busy pestering the Council to remove a 'fly tip' of one black plastic bag. Fred has been to see us, but many on Scrattons Farm have never heard of Barry Poulton.

And, as I understand it, Margaret Hodge was parading Jose Channer round the streets months back when Joan and Fred did not even know they had been de-selected. How disgusting and disgraceful is that. And if anyone questions why this blog has been set up they should think on that.

There has been an almighty corrupt proceedure here and a definite moral wrong committed.

George Shaw has not been seen much on Thames View since June 18th (deselection day). Could that be shame (I doubt it), or is too frightened of what the residents of Thames Ward will now think. That he is corrupt, vindictive and a very silly old man.

  2. It appears that the gossiping amongst the neighbours down on the view has started.

Certainly after the selected councillors were named in the local paper by D Twomey.

Some neighbours of this young woman are actually asking what background checks the labour party does on individuals before they stand them as candidates?

    we will rock you
