Why has Councillor Twomey announced that his select committee will be holding an investigation into the problems at Queens maternity unit?
Has Councillor Twomey been on another planet for the last couple of months?
Or, has Councillor Twomey had more pressing issues to deal with?
Well lets help him along a bit shall we? Councillor Twomey for your information there has already been an investigation into Queens Maternity unit by an official government department, they have already issued their findings in a report which you can get on line.
They have also issued their recommendations which Queens have to comply with in a set out time frame.
We understand their time ran out last Wednesday, perhaps Councillor Twomey should also read the follow up report.
Just don't waste officer and member time, and of course council tax payers money on an investigation that has already been done by persons far more qualified that you Councillor Twomey.
Editor, sounds as though this Twomey is a bit of a prat, doesn't it? And people voted for him they tell me. God forbid he ever gets any real authority. Personally I would rather have someone who can do the job they were elected to do, than keep cming round knocking on doors.
ReplyDeleteall of the cuts in the bloody borough and you think we are all worried about a council investigation into queens hospital!!
ReplyDeletec'mon get a grip i am following this for some juicy exposures and you are showing me nothing, this blog is becoming boring.
Wheres all the meaty stuff gone ed?
Editor, speaking of Councillor Twomey, has anyone questioned his position regarding his paid employment with the disablement Association?.and has he declared an interest.
ReplyDeleteHow can he do that job, and still be Chair of the Health Select Committee?
In response to anon @7.40 more meaty stuff is in the pipeline.
ReplyDeleteas for Twomey and conflict of interest we agree with you questions should be raised in the chamber.
we have been reliably informed that Twomey has been telling his voters over the last couple of weeks that he has more pressing things to deal with than their problems, and in fact would not be dealing with them until next week as he is too busy campaining in Thurrock every day.
What a LIAR lol
Editor, what Ward does this prat, Twomey, purpot to represent? I used the word, purpot advisedly, for isn't, represent what he is supposed to do? Bugger Thurrock, this is Barking and Dagenham and if he represents some of its residents, then he should do just thatIf I were one of his constituents, I would remember this action and definitely not vote for him next time round.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Bring on the meaty stuff. Barking
everyone from barking seems to be a liar.
ReplyDeletewhy oh why did the independents not succeed, a conspiracy by labour, oh no the people didnt vote for them.
i hear rush is resurrecting herself in some residents meetings so prehaps she can spread some truth!! now thats LOL
walter mittys and liars everywhere you look in barking, what can you do.................
since 2009 this site has made hundreds of allegations against dozens of people and not one of them has been substantiated or investigated.
ReplyDeleteimprovements have been made in the borough from what i can see and it looks like some vindictive former members of the party want to continue bleating and crying about injustice even though the public did not want them at the elections.......
can you not come up with anything of substance? please try harder its booooooring
Now I know you don't like clever people who pass exams in mathematics, that's sums to you, posting in your website but the reason the independents didn't succeed was that the Labour candidates got more votes.
ReplyDeleteIn response to anon @ 9.15 no figures just a lot of observation, just answer this, why? did none of the Barking ballot forms have creases in them??????
ReplyDeletedagenham member
My apologies for not responding sooner but
ReplyDelete1) Figures are important as the candidates with the most votes win.
2) As a Labour Party member I fully approve of Cllr Twomey helping with the campaigns for the council elections in Thurrock, not least to stop the BNP winning.
3) I am sorry but I don’t quite understand your comments about creases. If you are claiming that there were any irregularities in the 2010 council elections you should give full details to the appropriate authorities.
