THEY SEEM TO BE LISTENING TO US

We note with a great deal of interest that there are some financial cuts coming to members according to the report going to this months Assembly. Vice Chairs/Deputy lead Members will only get paid if they have to take the chair of a meeting. Ok its not a lot but its a start. Also we note that there will be no post of Deputy Mayor and therefore no payment. On the scale of things its peanuts but its a start.

    looks like they are not listening after all. the most effective cuts were removing the bnp and previous deadwood labour councillors in the borough.

    It's this happening because the BNP started a campaign aimed to cut the number of councillors by 1/3?

    Before this sorry lot took over I could always contact the so-called "deabeat" Labour Councillors in Thames Ward, now people are lucky to even see them, let alone consult them. This lot are about as useful as a chocolate kettle.
