WHO MADE RODWELL KING?

A large piece of German newspaper the Speigel has been emailed over to us today, it makes for very interesting and disturbing reading. Obviously Rodwell now truly believes himself to be the Leader for Labour in Barking & Dagenham and a thing like an election is just incidental.

We will just put in a small paragraph of what he says for you to make your own judgement.

Labour and Tories are pressing immigration debate.

Now, it benefits from the wrath of Labours mismanagement. "We have not listened to the people" admits Rodwell. The policy has been in recent years dominated by an old guard retired Ford unionists, who had set up in the City Council comfortable. For ideological reasons, they refused to outsource the construction of social housing to non-profit real estate companies. This had made the national Labour Government as a condition of grants. Thus, since more than ten years, no social housing built in the district - the main reason for the acute housing shortage.

Now we are not about to give this mis-guided young man a history lesson, but, if he feels or believes that he is now in a position to speak to newspapers both national and international on behalf of the borough he could at least take the time to check out his facts, and to learn to speak in English.

The problem with the likes of Rodwell and his mafia is that they have convinced themselves that they are right and everyone else is wrong, where a more commonsense approach would have been to learn how things work, to check out the facts first. Running the council is not like running a Tenants and Residents Association.

  1. Does this would be king not realise or remember (no of course he wont cos he is not a council tenant) the council consulted with their tenants asking them if they wanted to remain council tenants or be transferred to social landlords.

I along with a lot of my neighbours voted to stay council tenants. Is this rodwell now saying that despite what we voted he is going to sell us off? well he can bugger off.....

Ive seen the kind of tenants these social housing landlords put in their properties, they are not well managed and cause a lot of problems to council tenant neighbours.

Still Rodwell may be thinking that he will gain on his shares if he pushes this through.

  3. The above story smells like sauer kraut to me.

I wonder who else thought they were right and everyone else was wrong?

I wonder who else never listened to anyone but their own little gang?

I wonder who else drove this borough to it's knees?

Certainly some of the independent candidates who fit Einsteins quote "The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

Plenty of councillors busy doing nothing over the last decade, standing by watching a small group manipulate everyone else.

    Good job there independent team.

Best of luck for the 6th

  4. Think Rodwell is already in over his head. Way over, but that is what happens on the road to being a full blown meglomaniac.

Ive yet to hear any residents in Alibon ward who have a good word to say for him. And of course when it comes to the community and voluntary sector he is extremely well known for making a profit out of so called community events.

Heard another little rumour, well it was more like a full blown shout, why do his new wifes family hate him so much?
