CORE PRINCIPALS

This has been sent over to us with a request that we ask the question.

One of the Core Principals of the Labour Party is we have been told that the Candidates selected to run for election in the Local Elections "be representative of our society, who can uphold the highest standards of probity and integrity in public life"

Can the North Street mafia confirm or not as the case maybe that the candidates they are putting up conform to these Core Principals?

Of course you will note that we have not mentioned the Local Government committee in this, as all will be very much aware that the Local Government committee has not met to endorse said candidates, even though this is a requirement within the Labour Party Rules.

But then again what do North Street care, and don't get us started on the question of probity.

  1. Core principles. Fine wordage I'm sure, but a quwstion springs readily to mind after reading that sentence on this blog.
The question is, and is for, the editor or anyone else.
If, all of those de-selected councillors were not de-selected, would this blog have appeared, and as a secondary question; would there still be talk of core values?
    To both, I think not.

  2. I thought the posting stated that this was one of the Core principals of the labour party? so I can only presume that this posting is a rather heavy handed hint that some of the New Candidates are not signed up to that especially the probity.

I have picked up from another site that some of the candidates owe the council a lot of money, so how can they be councillors, who will be responsibile for taking residents to court for not paying their bills, when they owe the council a lot of money.

  3. Well some people have principles, unlike the North Street mafia, still I hear on the grapevine that their little world is going to be rocked in the next couple of days.

Really should stick to the rules
