We are sure you have all read in the national newspapers that the Met Police are holding a Major investigation into illegal practices in Postal Voting in 12 London Boroughs.
We ask the question why, has Darren Rodwell as Agent for Barking then been putting out leaflets with forms for residents to register for postal votes and then more importantly asking that they return their forms to him??????
It seems that this is in direct contravention of the rules laid down by the Electoral Commission.
Nothing this lot do would surprise me anymore. If you think back how the party membership grew dramatically when they needed the votes to get their corrupt little bunch in place. Perhaps they are prepared to take that next step.

When you consider that the rent and all expenses for that place are paid for from the GB taxpayer, how they are getting away with it I dont know.
Still if the Met Police are now investigating perhaps they will cast their net wider.

What media interest ??? I've not seen any media snooping round - if there was these storys would make front pages!? May be soeone should tip off national news papers to read this blog (as makes for an excellent read not to mention this would show Ms Hodge & Labour up even further...... another nail in the labour coffin before Thursday's elections

ReplyDeleteAll this mumbo jumbo, hearsay, rumour etc. And, that is all that it is. If Mr. Rodwell has done anything wrong, the authorities would have surely challenged it by now, but no. All that he has been accused of, has come to nought, ergot, nothing has been done wrongly. What Mr. Rodwell has done, and I think most people agree with, is that he and the new team of CLP Officers have rooted out a certain ilk that thought they had a job for life, well no, those days have gone, thank goodness. Mr Rodwell is a fresh, spring clean and has only benefitted the Party that we serve. The Independents are still as they were before. They were de selected for good reason, and quite legally and fairly. Mrs Rush was defeated in her election at the CLP elections and has caused aggravation ever since, in a vain attempt to blame evryone else, but herself. She lost, grow up and carry on living. An outside observer.

One Councillor won his appeal against this farce, but chose to stand as Independent anyway.
Get your head out of the stand and smell the corruption.
My Postal Vote paper was not received untill saturday morning post ( i questioned the postman whom told that he has delivered numerous on saturday 1st may )! What have the council left it very late to post these out ??? or is this more corruption so us voters can't get our votes back in time !?
