PANIC AND RECRIMINATIONS AT NORTH STREET

Well its started. we hear that Louis Couling is blaming Liam Smith because she cannot take up her seat in the council chamber. No sorry you stupid old woman, nobody to blame but yourself and your Agent. You should have read the paperwork that went to ALL candidates. And more importantly so should your agent.

Then the biggest and most laughable news guess who North Street are going to run in the Goresbrook by election wait for it, Dominics Mummy, Pat Twomey.

Well lets just put this marker down on behalf of all the the de-selected councillors who did not get through North Streets corrupted selection process.

Try that and you and London Region will find yourselves in the courts. Pat Twomey never got through your so called Independent panel as did many others, you do not have the right just to impose a failure. Never mind labour party rules, there are other avenues, such as the Equal Opportunities.

So try it and then wait for the backlash.

empty threats one and all. A sad lonely and pathetic figure you now cut. still got some vitriol in you and lots of vindictivness in you. To quote a phrase though "you stupid old woman, nobody to blame but yourself."

  2. I notice Louise got 1963 votes. More than the independents.

  3. Yes that has been noted, but, what a shame she will not be able to take up her seat in the council chamber.

  4. They ALL got between 1500 and 2500 votes.

I smell a RAT. Skulduggery afoot methinks. So do a lot of other people.

  5. In fact I notice that all the Labour candidates got more votes in their wards than the other candidates and that 51 Labour councillors were elected.

  6. May I ask what is the precise reason that you believe Louise Couling will not be able to take up her seat in the council chamber.

  7. for anon @13 May 2.55

are you really so thick that you have not got the message yet? Louise Couling is a member of the Council staff, she was when nominated, and she was when the count was announced.

Just for further information we understand she has been served notice, and a High Court writ will duly follow.

  8. I do not see the need for this rudeness when I ask a perfectly civil question.

Although I have noticed that you have made vague allegations about Louise Couling I cannot recall seeing the specific comment that she was a member of the council staff on this website until the post of 13 May.

However, given the large number of posts and comments on the site it is possible that I may have missed it. Could you advise me where you have previously made the specific comment that she is a member of the council staff.

I remember that when the independant candidate Diane Challis was elected as a Liberal Democrat in 2003 there were comments that she worked for a council funded body but she was allowed to be a councillor.

As for your comment that I am thick, I would point out that I have three Grade A A Levels (Maths, Further Maths and Statistics) and a grade B in Accounting. I am currently halfway through a degree in Mathematics with a weighted average of 76% which is good enough for a first class honours degree if I can keep it up. I also have a score of 161 in a Mensa IQ test which puts me in the top 1%. If this is thick what would I have to do to be clever.

Perhaps one reason the independents did so badly is they go round insulting people.

  9. Obviously super intelligent anon @ 2.15 feels that his/her intelligence has been insulted, but if they were to go further back on the blog they would know exactly why Louise Couling can not take her place in the council chamber. It would end up for her the most expensive sit down ever.

  10. As super intelligent @2.15 may I ask precisely which blog explains exactly why Louise Couling can not take her seat.

As there are 137 blogs it is perfectly possible that I may have missed it or forgotten it but I can't recall seeing antthing that said she worked for the council.

The blog Review 4 on 9 May 2010 does say she can't take her seat but doesn't give a reason.

A word of advice for future election candidates, I don't like being called thick so I don't vote for candidates who call me thick.

  11. You stated that Louis Couling could not take her seat in the Council chambers, however, as the votes were 25 to 26, that makes her seat sat on, doesn't it? So yet again, you appear to be very wrong in your assumption. Question now is, how often were you wrong in the past then?

  12. Yes Louis Couling was so badly advised as to take her seat that the Labour Group meeting, of course Rodwell needed all hands on deck, but it didnt get him what he wanted.

And when it comes down to it that will be the most expensive seat that Couling ever sat on, as all legal expenses will be passed on to her.

    Last laugh eh.

  13. On 14 May I asked precisely which on of the previous 137 blog explains exactly why Louise Couling can not take her seat.

May I have the courtesy of an answer or is the statement that Louise Couling is a member of the Council staff, she was when nominated, and she was when the count was announced not posted on the site until this particular post

  14. If Louis Couling cannot sit on her seat, for alleged , legal reasons, then just how come she sits in her seat? You are either right, and nothing is going to happen, or, you are wrong.

  15. Without being an expert on electorial law or knowing all the facts of this case, I have been advised the Louise Couling is no longer a member of the council staff.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Information for anon @ 6.07 Louise Couling may not be a member of council staff any longer, BUT, she was when she signed her nomination form and fraudently allowed members of the public to nominate her. She was also a member of the council staff when the result of the count was announced.

North Street cannot say they did not know, neither can she.

The financial cost of this will be heavy.
