THE KING FAILED TO GET HIS CROWN

Live as we post this blog we hear that even with his and the North Street Mafia total immersion into corruption, Darren Rodwell FAILED to be elected as Leader of the Council.

Justice prevails.

  2. No you are right,he never but, at least he will continue to work for his community as an elected member.Which is more than you can do as sadly you did not get the votes. Perhaps you should ask yourselves if you were that good at serving the electorate why they did not vote you back in. Clearly you weren't working as hard as you claim to have been.

  7. The best news ever, been away this week so have only just caught up. Finally Rodwell gets his nose rubbed in it and about bloody time to.

Perhaps he would like to come on here and explain why he thinks he never got to be Leader.

    Halo slipping is is Rodwell?

  8. maybe it had something to do with the bitter and twisted old regime who have been trying to bribe people by promising prime positions on the council because of one certain power mad bully who wants to stay in charge, and doent give a toss about the community,

  9. Darren can hold his head high and be proud of what Barking Labour Party achieved with his help and vision. Not only have the 11 BNP Councillors of the Barking Ward been deselected by the electorate The Labour Group is now reflective of its community that it represents with more women, more BME councillors as well members from all different age groups. This is a first for the council and has not gone unnoticed by the electorate.Darren should be commended he may not have made leader but a vote of 25/26 in the second round is nothing to feel ashamed of. It shows that the Labour Group are embracing change and positive things are around the corner for this borough.

I am sure that this website and your year of disgusting comments will not stop the hard work and dedication continuing from all the council members.

  10. If Darren Rodwell didn't get elected as Leader of the Council, who did and why are they any better than him.

Surely whoever won is still a member of what you describe as the "North Street Mafia" and is just as bad as Darren.

  12. As anon@4.41 I am not trying to get Rodwell his Sainthood I merely asked who won the election for Leader of the Council.

If he only lost 26-25 I would regard this as a very good performance by a new councillor.

I also note that there has been criticism of Liam Smith in previous posts. Perhaps you could answer my question as to why he is any better than Darren Rodwell.

  13. Whyu would anon @ 10.25 say that the North Street mafia would HUNT them down? have they discovered that once again Dee Hunt has flipped sides? didnt do her much good though did it? but we do hear that the DWP took great interest in watching the news film of her dancing backwards and forwards in front of the stage at the election count.

Well they would wouldnt they considering her almost miraculous recovery from her disability.
