PONDFIELD PARK CAN NOW REPAY ITS LOAN

According to todays Post Pondfield park has come into the tidy sum of £45,000 to put in additional play areas.

We have been asked by residents and supporters of Thames Eco park to remind the supporters of Pondfield park that they have an outstanding debt to the Eco park of £64,000.

Just a brief summary of why; several years ago that money was allocated to the Eco park, but, because the soil tests were taking time Damian Parker agreed with Thames residents that the money would be loaned out to Pondfield park on the full understanding that any future monies coming in for Pondfield would be repaid to the Eco park.

We have been informed that the chair of the residents association and former councillors have copies of all necessary relevant paperwork.

So come on Pondfield repay your debt.

  1. Once again Reede Road gains the money. Councillors are not supposed to have anything to do with TRA's but it seems that Cllr Rodwell is still behind the scenes of Reede Road TRA. Scrattons Farm won £64,000 from the peoples millions, but because of the soil testing were not able to use it at once. The money was delegated to Pondfield Park, on the understanding that when they could it would be repaid to the Eco Park. Most of the residents new it would never come back to them, and their kids also need a proper play area and regeneration.
Does Scrattons Fatrm they think they will get it? Not really.
All this is well documented but there is doubt that any of the money will be repaid.

So come on Reede Road. Do the decent thing and pay back some of what you owe Scrattons Farm.

  2. Scrattons Farm Echo Park has become an overgrown mess, and all because the council do not have the budget to maintain it. It's down to the council to take the money back from Pondfield Park, and I really think a petition is in order to ensure this is carried out!

daughter of an ex hardworking, for the people councillor!
