We have been reliably informed that residents who are phoning councillor Aziz (he is the only one in the ward who has put a land line telephone number) with problems are being told they will be called back and to leave a message.
Sure enough they are called back, when school is out by councillor Aziz son who we are told is telling residents that he is the Secretary for the ward Councillors for Gascoigne, he will be the one who will take all the details of their problems down, he will then investigate and come back to them in 7/10 days.
It is no small wonder then that the majority of residents are refusing to give their personal information to an outsider, and we are told that an awful lot of residents are not happy at all.
If this is true then residents need to complain. What confidential information residents tell a councillor is not supposed to be shared. In fact I believe councillors sign a confidentiality agreement.

Trouble is this man along with others wanted the title and the money but either cant or is unable to do the job.

Must be a bit like the 3 councillors on Thames Ward who appear to have done no work at all since they started getting paid by us taxpayers to represent us.
ReplyDeleteNice 'work' if you can get it! Have any of the new "democratically elected" councillors actually done any work - it would be interesting to know?
A large number of voters placed their faith in the newly elected councillors and it is early days yet to make such judgements.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the former councillors who did lots and lots and lots of work failed to carry any vote at all, culminating in hardworking northover getting 63 votes in the by-election
Many previous councillors also couldn't or were unable to do the job, so if it's true that the new councillors are the same then thats disapointing.
However the former members proved over a period of many years that they were incapable so lets give the new members some time, even if we then have to equally judge them as failures as well.
